AI Use Policy

i10X News is run by people. Our editorial team decides what we cover and how, and is accountable for everything we publish. We use AI tools as aids for research, for drafting and editing, and for title images. This page explains how.

What our editorial team does

  • Decides which topics we cover and the angle we take.
  • Sets the sourcing and quality standards our articles must meet.
  • Owns the analysis and the i10X perspective in our articles.
  • Reviews what we publish and corrects errors.
  • Is accountable for every article on i10X News.

How we use AI

  • Research: AI tools help us find, gather and summarise information from sources such as official announcements, papers and documentation. The sources are linked in the article.
  • Drafting and editing: AI tools help draft and edit text, following the rules and standards set by our editors.
  • Title images: our title images are AI-generated illustrations, labelled “Illustration: i10X”. They are never presented as photographs of real people or events.

What AI does not do

AI tools are not a source. The facts in our articles come from the sources we link to. AI tools do not set our editorial standards, and they do not take responsibility for what we publish; our editorial team does.

Transparency

Articles produced with AI assistance carry a short note saying so.
